CUASC - Mentorship Series (Entrepreneurial Track) - “Braving The New Business World amidst Uncertain Global Environment”

1. Mentorship Programmes

Many of our alumni enquired how will the Singapore Alumni Chapter support those alumni who operates a business, aspiring entrepreneur, as well as, others who are looking into early and mid-career progression. At CUASC, we will be launching the Mentorship programme with the following tracks:

i. Entrepreneurship (existing entrepreneur)

ii. Acceleration of startups (aspiring entrepreneur)

iii. PMET Career Progression (professionals, managers, engineers and technicians)

2. Inaugural Forum

To help launch this inaugural programme, we are partnering with Singapore Digital Chamber of Commerce and The Rebel Labs, an accelerator with RHT Consulting Asia Commerce to present the following forum, 

“Braving The New Business World amidst Uncertain Global Environment”.

The Forum will address the following enquiries in most of our minds: 

a. What will be the global economy be especially in a high-inflationary, slow growth or recessionary environment

b. What are the business opportunities and technology trends for the next 5 years

c. What’s next after FTX collapse? Will Fintech, Blockchain, Metaverse, still be viable?

d. How does award-winning Entrepreneur-of-the-Year respond to past few H1N1, Lehman Brother, Asian Financial crises?

To address the topics, we have speakers:

- Kavin Ng who is Entrepreneur of the Year with Richz Technologies, 

- Roger Wong, President of Singapore Digital Chamber of Commerce

- Victor Tay who is the Group CEO with RHT Consulting Asia, Managing Director of US Stout Investment Banking firm. He was also past Chairman of United Nations Global Compact
